Rainbow RUB is also called 'Unicorn' RUB or 'mermaid' RUB or ' Mirror Aurora» – all these are custom versions of the same pigment. The RUB is a polyester dust in the form of minute sand particles that resemble mica in their luster. This RUB differs from its colleagues in that it is a kind of symbiosis of a pearl RUB with a holographic one, with a minimal admixture of the Northern lights. It is this combination that creates a real fairy tale on your nails, the world of mermaids and unicorns!
The RUB is a polyester dust similar to ultra-fine sand or mica. It can be shiny or almost gray-matte, depending on the type of decorative pigment. Rubs are applied to the top coat:
- with a finger in the master's glove,
- with a sponge applicator,
- silicone brushes- ' hooves»,
- they interfere with the finish before applying it to the nail with a brush or mix with the top before polymerizing in a lamp (using a fan brush).
The rainbow pigment is based on the synthesis of several previously released rubbers, namely pearl, holographic and even partially Northern lights. Hence such a wide range of names: rainbow RUB 'unicorn', RUB-rainbow, RUB 'magic unicorn', neon RUB Aurora Mirror, 'mermaid'. Each manufacturer produces a different size of pigment, so depending on the application accessory (sponge, silicone or regular brush), different effects are obtained.
